About This Treatment

This procedure aims to treat chronic headaches through the injection of a local anaesthetic and steroid into the area of the occipital nerves. The procedure is similar to a Medial Branch Block but targets the occipital nerves which are located at the back of the head as opposed to the medial branch nerves which are located in the spine.
